Flomble is a color memory game. This policy describes what information the app collects, why, and how it is used.

Information Stored on Your Device

Flomble saves the following data locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data is not shared with any third party and is used solely to provide the app's functionality.

Advertising

Flomble uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob is a third-party service operated by Google LLC. When ads are shown, AdMob may collect certain information automatically, including:

This data is collected and processed by Google under their own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads).

Users who purchase the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase will not be shown any advertisements.

In-App Purchases

Flomble offers a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase through the Google Play Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Google. Flomble does not collect or store any payment information.

Optional Research Participation

Flomble includes an optional feature that contributes anonymous gameplay data to color perception research. This feature is off by default and only activates if you explicitly choose to participate when prompted in the app.

If you opt in, the following anonymous data may be sent to our secure servers:

This data contains no personal information and cannot be used to identify you. It is used solely to understand color perception patterns. You can withdraw your participation at any time through the app's Settings screen.

Internet Connection

Flomble connects to the internet for two purposes: to display advertisements (AdMob) and, if you have opted in, to submit anonymous research data. The core gameplay — levels, progress, and daily challenges — works entirely offline.

Children's Privacy

Flomble is rated for users aged 4 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The optional research participation feature is designed to collect only anonymous, non-personal gameplay events. If a parent or guardian believes their child has submitted personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Data Retention and Deletion

All data stored locally on your device can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data through your device settings. If you participated in the optional research feature, anonymous event data stored on our servers does not contain any identifier that could be used to locate or delete your specific records.

Your Rights (EEA and UK Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) including the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Since Flomble collects no personal data without your explicit consent, there is generally no personal data for us to provide or delete. For any questions, please contact us at the address below.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a revised date. Significant changes will be communicated within the app where possible.
